What This Website Collects

This website collects only what you type into the contact form on the Contact page: your name, email address, phone number, preferred session format, and your message. It also notes which page of the site you sent the form from.

If you never fill in the form, the website does not collect any of that information. Like most websites, the hosting service keeps basic visit statistics, such as which pages were viewed and what kind of device was used. These are not tied to your name.

How It Is Used

Your information is used to reply to you and set up your free 15-minute consultation. The form service that delivers your message to Josh by email also keeps a backup copy of each request and counts requests by page for basic reporting.

Your information is never sold or used for advertising.

Please Keep Sensitive Details for the Consultation

The contact form is not a secure channel for clinical or sensitive personal information. Please do not include details about your health, history, or diagnoses. A short note about what you would like to talk about and how to reach you is plenty. Those conversations belong in your free consultation.

Online Requests Through SimplePractice

The links to request a free consultation online open Josh's SimplePractice page. SimplePractice is a separate client portal with its own privacy and security practices, and information you enter there is handled by SimplePractice, not by this website.

This Website and Your Counseling Records

This website is a way to learn about the practice and get in touch. It is not a clinical record system. If you become a client, your counseling records are kept separately and are governed by Josh's professional obligations as an Ohio Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and by HIPAA. You can read the practice's Notice of Privacy Practices.

Asking About or Deleting Your Information

You can ask what information is held about you, or ask for it to be deleted, at any time. Email jreed@freedominchristcounseling.com or call (937) 210-9474, and Josh will confirm once it is done.

Changes to This Policy

If what this website collects changes, this page and the date above will be updated.
