The Foundation
What every session has in common
A Licensed Ohio Counselor
Josh Reed, LPCC-S, is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with supervision designation in Ohio, licensed since 2014.
A Biblical Worldview
Your Christian beliefs belong in the conversation. Clinical care and biblical truth are considered together.
Evidence-Based Methods
Josh uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and psychodynamic counseling.
Practical Tools
The work includes tools to practice between sessions, such as recognizing a thought pattern or responding differently in a difficult conversation.
Who This Care Is For
Christian men age 18 and up can bring the emotional, relational, behavioral, or spiritual struggles that leave them feeling stuck. Couples can work on communication, marriage strain, and the effects of broken trust.
A first session includes talking through what brought you in and your goals. You can ask how your faith will be included before beginning the work on everyday patterns.
Insurance and Your First Call
Josh accepts Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare. Benefits depend on your plan and are checked together before the first session. Private pay is another option.
