How to Meet
Dayton Appointments and Ohio Video Sessions
Josh’s office is in Dayton, and there is no Fairborn office. Couples always meet in person at that Dayton location. Men can choose in-person sessions or secure video from anywhere in Ohio, provided they are in Ohio during the session.
Faith and Clinical Care
Licensed Care With Faith in the Conversation
Josh holds an Ohio LPCC-S license, with supervision designation. He combines a biblical worldview with clinical methods including CBT, EMDR, and psychodynamic counseling. Thoughts and behavioral responses, painful memories, and recurring emotional patterns can all be considered. Honest conversations about personal responsibility and faith remain connected to concrete concerns such as overthinking or conflict about family roles.
Our ApproachWhat a Session Looks Like
First sessions are 55 minutes and include discussion of what brought you in, your goals, and how faith will inform the work. Ongoing appointments are weekly or every other week. Practical tools between meetings can keep the discussion connected to daily situations. There is nothing special you need to have ready before you ask about counseling or the free consultation.
Getting StartedInsurance and Payment
Fees are discussed on the free 15-minute consultation rather than posted here. The practice accepts Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare. Benefits are checked together before the first session because coverage depends on the plan.
