How to Meet
Dayton Appointments and Ohio Video Sessions
Englewood is an area served, not an office location. Josh sees in-person clients at the Dayton office. Individual men may meet there or use secure video while located anywhere in Ohio. Couples meet at the office in person only, including couples working on trust after betrayal.
Faith and Clinical Care
Clinical Counseling Grounded in a Biblical Worldview
Josh’s Ohio credential is Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with supervision designation. He uses CBT, EMDR, and psychodynamic counseling in his work. Those methods address thoughts and responses, trauma and painful memories, and recurring emotional patterns. A biblical worldview remains part of the clinical conversation, alongside honest discussion, personal responsibility, and practical tools for the concerns you identify.
Our ApproachWhat a Session Looks Like
You can start the first session with what has been happening recently and the goals you want to discuss. Counseling appointments last 55 minutes and are scheduled weekly or every other week. Faith fit is part of that initial conversation. Work between sessions may include practical tools connected to everyday concerns, so the discussion is not limited to the time spent in an appointment.
Getting StartedInsurance and Payment
The free 15-minute consultation includes room for questions about fees and insurance. Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare are accepted, with coverage depending on the plan. Josh checks benefits together with you before the first session.
